How To Become An A-1 All Subjects At-Home Tutoring Service® Affiliate Tutoring Service shows how a private tutoring service can work with A-1 All Subjects At-Home Tutoring Service® by agreeing to accept some of our students as referrals. In becoming an Affiliate Tutoring Service, a tutoring service agrees to do the following six things:

If the Zanzibar Tutoring Service is a franchise and pays a per-hour franchise fee, that fee is deducted from the profit as follows: Suppose we give the Zanzibar Tutoring Service Mary Smith as a referral. If Ms Smith pays $45.00 an hour for lessons, Ms Smith's tutor earns $20.00 per hour and Zanzibar Tutoring Service pays a $3.00 per hour franchise fee for each hour of tutoring, Zanzibar Tutoring Service would then earn $22.00 per hour. We split this $22.00 in half; Zanzibar Tutoring Service gets $11.00 per hour and A-1 All Subjects At-Home Tutoring Service® gets $11.00 per hour.
Almost every tutoring request reaches us as an email form showing the name, address, school, subject, grade, educational problems and other information of the student requesting help. Suppose the Zanzibar Tutoring Service only tutors students in the 207 area code (the state of Maine). If they decide to become an A-1 All Subjects At-Home Tutoring Service® affiliate tutoring service in the area code 207, we’ll automatically email them every tutor request form we receive in area code 207. They would then be able to sell our students just as they if they were their own.If your service decides to accept referral from us, we’ll consummate the agreement over the phone with a verbal handshake. Other than the referral fees described above, there are no other fees due for involvement in this program.

If we're out of the office or otherwise busy when you call, please leave a message stating three different days and times when you'll be at a phone and be ready to complete the interview. We'll be glad to return your call during one of the three days and times you specified.

On the 15th of each month, you need to send us your monthly Affiliate Referral Report to account for all the students we sent you during the previous month. Fill out your monthly Affiliate Referral Report and either email it to us at affiliate@a1tutor.com or FAX it to us at (206) TUTOR-88 (206-888-6788). If we do not receive a Affiliate Referral Report from you for a particular month during which our records indicate we actually sent you referrals, we will immediately and without notice end our relationship with you and cease giving you any more referrals. Once you receive a message, you'll need to call the student's parents as soon as possible to discuss the student's problem and, hopefully, sign them up. We've detailed a most effective way to sell students in Selling Students and hereby give you permission to make use of this approach. This is how we've signed up students during the past 50 years and we feel this approach should help you a great deal.
The relationship which exists between us (A-1 All Subjects At-Home Tutoring Service®) and you (an affiliate tutoring service) is NOT exclusive. This means giving you a particular referral in no way prevent us from giving the same referral to another affiliate tutoring service. In other words, we may send a particular tutoring referral to one, two or even five affiliate tutoring services simultaneously. Although there's no problem in most cases, this is one of the reasons we strongly recommend you don't delay in managing your tutoring calls. The only way to have exclusive rights to a particular area code is to become a member of the Partner Program.

Now that you're comfortable handling with calls, you must make sure you know how to handle the monthly report. Now that your PayPal account is established and verified, let's examine the three clerical chores you must execute the last day of September. Suppose you had three students in September 2005: Ann Abrahams who spent $200.00 for 4 hours, Bill Brewster who spent $300.00 for 6 hours and Chuck Cochran who spent $250.00 for 5 hours in September. So, it's imperative you always behave in the most professional way; we don't want to be forced to end our relationship with you.
